THE VINEYARD

Our area of Arizona’s Old West is the New Frontier for wine production. Golden Rule Vineyards is located in a high elevation (4,350 ft) climate providing intense sun light, warm sunny days, cool evenings and near constant airflows that enhance the flavor of our wines.

ARIZONA PISTACHIOS

Our first Cochise Groves Pistachios were planted in 1981 by Ruth's parents, Victor and Hazel Nilsen. A second orchard was added in 1986. Jim and Ruth took over the farm in 1998 and added a third pistachio orchard to bring the total to 135 acres. Jim also manages another 15 acres bringing the total to about 21,000 trees.
